Where Deep Powder
Meets Expert Guidance

The Bighorn Mountains receive enormous snowfall each winter, creating some of Wyoming's most spectacular and accessible backcountry terrain. Far from resort crowds, these peaks offer a raw, real mountain experience that's impossible to replicate anywhere else.

Adam Cherni has ridden these mountains since before splitboards were mainstream. He knows where the pow stashes are, where the terrain traps form, and how to get you to the goods and back safely. Every single time.

Whether you're looking to shred steep lines on your snowboard or tour deep into the wilderness on a splitboard, Adam will tailor the experience to your skill level and ambitions.

Avalanche Safety:
It's Not Optional

Every winter, backcountry travelers are caught in avalanches in Wyoming. The Bighorn Mountains present real avalanche terrain — steep slopes, loaded wind pillows, and the same snowpack instabilities found throughout the Mountain West.

Avalanches do not care how experienced you are, how good your gear is, or how familiar you are with a slope. Proper training, up-to-date forecasting knowledge, and consistent rescue practice are the only things that shift the odds.

Adam is avalanche-certified and takes every guest's safety seriously before anything else. He is available to lead focused avalanche education courses for individuals, families, and small groups looking to build real competency in the backcountry.

Course Topics Include

Avalanche terrain recognition and avoidance
Snow science fundamentals and snowpack evaluation
Beacon, probe & shovel companion rescue practice
Trip planning and route selection decision-making
Avalanche forecasting and reading the daily forecast
Field assessment: stability tests and red flags
Avalanche safety training in the field Preparing for backcountry in heavy snow Splitboarding in perfect winter conditions
